At Arden University, our learning model gives you structure where you need it and flexibility where you want it.

As a full-time student, you’ll attend two focused four-hour classes each week, either in the morning (9 am–1 pm) or afternoon (1:30 pm–5:30 pm). These sessions are led by expert lecturers in small, interactive classes where you’ll discuss ideas, apply theory, and work on real-world examples.

Alongside your campus sessions, you’ll complete around 25 hours of self-guided study each week, including group work, online resources, reading, and one-to-one tutor support. This balance helps you manage your time effectively and enjoy all that student life in the UK has to offer.

Alex in the workplace

A degree schedule that fits around life and work

We know you’re looking for more than just a degree. Many students want to gain work experience, travel, and build connections while studying in the UK.

Our learning model supports all of this by keeping your on-campus teaching to two fixed days per week. That means:

  • A predictable weekly schedule for balancing study, work, and personal commitments
  • The same two days each week so you can plan consistent part-time hours
  • The flexibility to work up to 20 hours per week during term time in line with visa regulations
  • Dedicated time for self-study, group projects, and personal development

  • Use our online library to continue your research without carrying heavy books
  • Stay on track with your studies wherever you are in the world

This approach helps you balance your academic goals with family visits, travel, or other international commitments.

  • Avoid time lost between short, scattered lectures
  • Use campus days efficiently with access to group spaces and quiet study areas
  • Use your free days for part-time work, assignments, or exploring your new city
