Arriving in a new country can feel unfamiliar, especially after a long journey. The information below outlines what to expect when you arrive in the UK and how to travel safely to your accommodation.

At border control, you will be asked to show your **passport**, **eVisa**, **CAS** **number**, and **UK** **accommodation** **address**. You may also be asked a few questions about your course or your finances. This is a normal part of the entry process for international students.

We recommend keeping a copy of your boarding pass with you, as you may need to show evidence of your date of arrival to meet visa requirements.

After collecting your luggage, follow the signs for public transport, including trains, coaches, or licensed taxis. Booking transport in advance can help reduce costs and make your onward journey easier.

For your safety, do not accept rides from unofficial taxi drivers. Always use licensed services, such as **Uber**, **Bolt**, or official airport taxi services.
