At Arden University, we’ve created a welcoming and supportive environment designed with international students in mind. Our new Arden Global Campuses offer a vibrant community and the resources you need to succeed academically and personally. With dedicated support services and a diverse student population, we’ll help make your transition to university life in the UK as smooth and rewarding as possible.

### Multicultural Hub

Our Multicultural Hub is a vibrant space on campus where international students can connect, share experiences, and access tailored support services. You’ll get a real sense of community studying at Arden, and have the opportunity to sample the culture of your classmates and develop a real sense of belonging.

Our Multicultural Hub Advisors will help to cultivate a vibrant and supportive student experience, delivering workshops and cultural celebrations, supporting a sense of belonging and linking you to your peers.

We offer a range of services to help international students thrive:

Wellbeing Leads:

- Studying in a new country can be exciting, but it also comes with challenges. Our Disability & Mental Health Advisors offer confidential support and guidance to help you navigate life in the UK. Whether you need help with disabilities, reasonable adjustments, mental health concerns, or general wellbeing, we’re here for you. To find out more or ask a question, email <wellbeing@arden.ac.uk>

Student Hub Advisors:

- These advisors are dedicated to helping you navigate university life, providing guidance on academic and personal matters.

Student Success Coaches:

- Our coaches are committed to your academic success, offering personalised support and group workshops to help you achieve your goals.

- Connect with current students for informal advice and support as you settle in.

### Student life advisors

Student Life Advisors promote and plan fun, inclusive events on campus to celebrate diverse cultures and help students feel part of campus life. By creating opportunities for students to connect and make friends, they help international students feel at home while studying with us.

### Careers

We understand the importance of career development:

- International Employment Advisors: Our career consultants will assist you in finding part-time work and preparing for your future career.
- Our careers team will identify where you are in your career journey and deliver advice that is tailored to your needs.
- Lots of resources are available on the ArdenFutures platform including CV builders, practice interviews, psychometric tests, and other resources.
- Free online job boards and interview preparation.
- Regular events such as careers festivals and workshops.

Orientation and Campus Life

Our StartSmart orientation support team is here to help you transition smoothly into university life:

- Orientation Support: Our team will guide you through the StartSmart orientation process, helping you understand the campus, meet new friends, and get involved in university activities.

ArdenCONNECT

ArdenCONNECT assists students in their early transition into Arden, builds a feeling of belonging and community, establishes peer relationships, and leads you through university life while answering questions and referring you to support resources.
